The Mosset estate is located in the municipality of Escorca in the north of Mallorca in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, which have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The estate covers 71 hectares and its most important feature is the wild and spectacular limestone landscape, formed by the atmospheric elements, and its mountainous setting, with Puig Roig in the foreground, Puig Tomir in the background and Puig Major as the roof of the Tramuntana mountains.<\/p>\n
Mosset is a special place, with unique characteristics thanks to the microclimate created by its altitude and geographical form. Some of the plant species present on Mosset and of interest to bees are: Mediterranean buckthorn (Rhamnus alaternus), broom (Genista sp.), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis), asphodel (Asphodelus spp.) and vetches (Vicia sp.) and a number of plant formations also stand out, such as white-leaved rock rose (Cistus albidus), Montpelier cistus (Cistus monspeliensis), purple milk thistle (Galactites tomentosa), brambles (Rubus sp.), many flowered Mediterranean heather (Erica multiflora) and holm oak forests (Quercus ilex), which makes up its most representative woodland.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
